Born in Darlington, England, Sara was raised in Richmond Virginia since she was nine months old and considers herself an all American girl.

Her training consists of two years at VCU-CSPA “School of Dramatic Arts” for adults and nine years at the “School of Performing Arts” of Richmond.   She also has six years of ballet & 7 years tapp & jazz.  Two years model training at Jackie Fenderson’s School of Modeling and has modeled for various Richmond clothiers such as J.C. Penney, Miller&Rhodes Tea Room, Marilyns and Cameo.
Performed at V.C.U., U. of R., Swift Creek Mill Playhouse, Fort Lee Playhouse, DogWood Dell, commercials for TV, and voice-overs for puppets.  And to complete her schooling she has an Associates Degrees in Secretarial Science from J. Sargeant Reynolds.

Sara has been a volunteer for several years with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society where she annually organizes a benefit, "Dress with Success for M.S," attended last year by Susan Allen. This benefit has raised significant funds over the years.  She was the First Vice President of the Goochland Woman’s Club for four years.

She is currently in her seventh year of teaching at VCU.  Her Motto is “Learning While Having Fun!” Students learn parts of the stage, stage walks, stage falls, diction, poise, expression and much more.  After learning basics, Mrs. T (as her students call her), writes and directs short plays for the students to perform to an audience of their peers.  Many of Mrs. T’s students have gone onto becoming successful models and actors for the Richmond, New York and Florida area.  Performing commercials, print work and acting in local theaters.  Those students who have completed two sessions with Mrs. T., are able to read well, and are at least 7 years old, are eligible to register for “Auntie Una’s” theater school without an audition.
